Why Excelinator exists
Excelinator was created from a simple observation: Excel is often taught too quickly.
Most tutorials focus on formulas and shortcuts, but skip logic and structure. They show what to do, not why it works. As a result, many people use Excel every day without fully understanding their files, or trusting them over time.
Excelinator approaches Excel differently. It treats Excel as a system-building tool, not a bag of tricks. The goal is to create calm, structured systems you can return to weeks later and still understand. Systems that grow with you instead of becoming fragile or confusing.
Excelinator is not a black box or a magic product. Everything it teaches is explained openly through free YouTube videos. The value is not secrecy, but clarity, structure, and experience.
When Excel is built properly, it isn’t stressful. It’s satisfying. Excelinator exists to help people rediscover that.
The person behind Excelinator
My path didn’t start with Excel.
I hold a Belgian Master’s degree in Law, and my career led me into roles where rigour, accuracy, and accountability were non-negotiable. I later worked as a financial manager in a school with more than 1,600 students, managing budgets, reporting, workflows, and systems that had to work every single day, even when things were urgent, imperfect, or exhausting.
That’s where Excel became more than a tool.
Not academic Excel.
Not “perfect-world” spreadsheets.
But practical Excel — the kind that still works when you’re tired, under pressure, and just need reliable answers.
Excelinator comes from years of building, testing, breaking, and rebuilding real systems. From learning what makes a spreadsheet durable, and what makes it fragile over time. I don’t teach Excel theory, I share what I’ve built and what I’ve learned through real use.
I’ve always believed in one simple principle, which I repeat to everyone I work with:
“I’d rather spend two hours once and never repeat a task,
than spend five minutes every day doing the same thing.”
Automation, clarity, and structure aren’t about being clever, they’re about respecting taking time.
(And yes, they’re usually powered by a strong coffee )
Excelinator exists because I enjoy discovering better ways to build systems, and even more, sharing them with others so they can work more calmly, confidently, and efficiently.
